Winnipeg Pride Run 2017
Winnipeg Frontrunners is proud to organize the 2017 Pride Run – a fun, non-competitive running or walking event open to all members of the LGBTTQ* community and their supporters. Our third annual event takes place at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3rd, 2017. The run starts and ends at the Forks festival site in the heart of Winnipeg. This year we’re excited to offer 5k and 10k options!
The theme for our Pride Run is Pride Moves. We’re open to runners and walkers of all experience levels. Just bring your most colourful running or walking outfit and your positive, Pride-filled energy. We’ll give you a free t-shirt, too!
This year we’re fundraising for Reaching Out Winnipeg (ROW) a local organization that helps resettle LGBT refugees to Canada. They face serious persecution and intense discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in countries around the world.
