The Hub hopes to foster interaction among residents, increase awareness about issues in Winnipeg and spark local community engagement. Check out the About the Hub page to see how you can use the Hub, whether you’re an individual or organization!
If you’re an organization, sign up to create a profile. You can then begin to post events, blog posts and job opportunities! You can also seek to fulfill the criteria to become a partner organization!
If you’re an individual, sign up for our mailing list, check the calendar regularly, follow us on social media and help spread the word about the Hub! As an individual, you can also submit blog posts, calendar events and opportunities by emailing us at [email protected].
Definitely! There are a lot of Winnipeggers doing great things on their own, and we want to promote these activities as well!

If you feel that you are being discriminated against or that your human rights are being violated, we encourage you to discuss this with someone you feel comfortable with and/or contact the Manitoba Human Rights Commission www.manitobahumanrights.ca.

This idea was spearheaded by Christie McLeod, in partnership with Global College at the University of Winnipeg. Together, they received an Emerging Leaders’ Fellowship from the Winnipeg Foundation, which has allowed this vision to become a reality!
